Jewish Youth Library of Ottawa
The Jewish Youth Library of Ottawa is a non-profit, charitable organization founded in 1983 in order to promote education and literacy in the Capital region.
We are an umbrella organization for a wide variety of programs and services for children, adolescents and adults. We provide programs and services for all segments of the population of the Ottawa community and the surrounding areas.
The JYL strives to enhance the quality of life amongst all segments of the community and to eliminate exclusion by promoting inclusion.
Our programming, offered to the community of Ottawa, includes:
- Westboro Jewish Montessori Preschool
- Judaica Library for Adults and Children
- Jarvis Freedman Torah Tape Library
- Adult Education
- Recreational Activities
- Sunday Morning Story Hour
- Women's Book Club
- Camp Gan Israel
