Jewish Youth Library of Ottawa

The Jewish Youth Library of Ottawa is a non-profit, charitable organization founded in 1983 in order to promote education and literacy in the Capital region.

We are an umbrella organization for a wide variety of programs and services for children, adolescents and adults. We provide programs and services for all segments of the population of the Ottawa community and the surrounding areas.

The JYL strives to enhance the quality of life amongst all segments of the community and to eliminate exclusion by promoting inclusion.

 

Our programming, offered to the community of Ottawa, includes:

Westboro Jewish Montessori Preschool

Camp Gan Israel

Friendship Circle

Judaica Library for Adults and Children (coming soon in our new building - 166 Huron Avenue N)

Adult Education

Recreational Activities 

Rosh Chodesh Society

Sunday Morning Torah Study

Shabbat Morning Chassidus
