The Torah describes man and women as having been created as a single unit. Only afterwards, were they separated. Through an analysis of the Talmud’s discussion of how they were created as a unit, we can understand how they can best function as a unit in marriage.

Happy go lucky – How to make joy more than a matter of luck?
Maimonides writes: "The happiness with which a person should rejoice in the fulfillment of the mitzvot and the love of God Who commanded them is a truly great service." The word he uses for “service,” avodah, also means “work.” For happiness to flow spontaneously, a person must work on himself. This talk explores the type of work necessary and the environment that enables it to bear fruit.

Rabbi Eliyahu Touger has been one of the major contributors to the explosion of Jewish publishing, producing numerous translations of Jewish classics including Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, and The Torah Anthology, and Shulchan Aruch HaRav, Baal HaTurim . He has also published the works of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and other Chassidic masters, and has authored wide-selling Jewish books such as To Know and To Care, As a New Day Breaks , and the Chassidic Haggadah .
